Welcome to the Gettysburg Dime Museum! And thank you to everyone who visited us during the three seasons we were open in Gettysburg.

Now permanently closed, the Gettysburg Dime Museum opened in May 2016 in a Civil-War-era home and ran for three seasons. Photo courtesy of Cheryl Morris.

Historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, is well-known for the many Civil War attractions and museums, guided historic walking tours, ghost tours, battlefield tours, and National Park Service ranger programs on the three-day battle, fought on the streets of Gettysburg in the first few days of July, 1863.

But for a little different type of history – a step back in time to the era of circus sideshows and attractions of the odd and unusual –

Take a look at the Gettysburg Dime Museum . . . .

The museum was located in a Civil-War-era house in historic Gettysburg, heading south from the Square along Baltimore Street. Our exhibits were all on the ground floor of the building.
